Taking the Afro-Latino connection one step further we created a sound that seems to come from a magical little village in the rain forest. Leo is singing the Bass line a la McFaran, hand claps create a whooshing sound and wood blocks sound like exotic birds. The call and response from women to men sounds so powerful and reminds me of the gifts that both men and women have. We wanted this particular track to feel magical and strong, because it is the protection mantra. The sound current from the words will create a protective energy around you, so the music has to hold up!
